Review by hotel critic
Hotel Japanesque Kyoto Station Zequu is a delightful gem just a 10-minute stroll from the capital's hub of transportation. The spacious and beautifully appointed double room was a haven of comfort, featuring a generous bed and a well-fitted private bathroom that includes a soothing bath—ideal for unwinding after a day of exploration. The friendly staff truly elevated our stay; their assistance in promptly retrieving our misplaced luggage at a neighboring hotel was a testament to their exceptional hospitality. While the hotel is conveniently close to the main train station, it also offers a tranquil environment, complete with complimentary tea and coffee available in the cozy lobby area, making it a perfect spot to plan the day ahead. Hotel Japanesque Kyoto Station Zequu left a lasting impression on us, blending convenience with a warm touch of Japanese hospitality that any traveler, much like myself, deeply appreciates.
